ABOUT US
Founded in 2005, Caoba Capital is a private equity firm focused on aerospace, services, industrial, logistics and outsourcing sectors. We offer attractive growth equity for businesses that may have limited access to traditional capital markets. Our objective is to create long-term value through flexible investment structures that allow for longer holding periods if required. Our investment team is composed of 13 professionals with vast experience in private equity and deep industry knowledge.
Investment Strategy
- We invest in quality companies with long term business fundamentals leveraging our financial, strategic and industry acumen to maximize shareholder value.
- Strong cashflow, growth prospects and a robust management team are essential in our investments.
- The majority of our deal flow is proprietary originating from our broad network in the region and the industries where we have previously invested.
Geography
- Traditionally we have focused our investments primarily in Latin America (excluding Brazil).
- We are currently exploring investment opportunities in developed markets with labor-intensive operations that can benefit from complementing current capacity with nearshore operations.
- Target geographies to complement labor intensive operations include The United States, Canada and Europe.
Middle Market
- We target a minimum investment ticket of $20 million of equity.
- We seek companies with enterprise values between $40 and $400M.
Flexibility
- We are open to minority positions with capable management teams.
- Co-investments are explored with strategic partners that align with our vision.
- By not having strict exit requirements, Caoba has the flexibility to be a long term partner.
